The stange thing is that it works for me. Code: 2025-09-14 20:29:55, Info Host OS version: 10.0.26100.0 (0.0) Platform 0x2, SuiteMask 0x100, ProdType 0x1 2025-09-14 20:29:55, Info Target OS version: 10.0.26100.6580 2025-09-14 20:29:55, Info ConX::Compatibility::CSystemAbstraction::HostIsNewer: Host is not newer than target. 2025-09-14 20:29:55, Info CHostIsNewerChecker: checked HostIsNewer, found NoIssue. No idea what is the differently here now. The installed 26200 and the 26200 ISO are both recognized as 26100 in the setup during this phase. Upgrade runs as expected. Whats wrong? Strange.
AMD Ryzen 1700x, NVIDIA GTX 1080, 32 GB RAM. From what I see, the problem is that it incorrectly sees the target OS version, thus not allowing me to perform an in-place upgrade...
The Problem ist this: Host OS version: 10.0.26200.0 For me it is: Host OS version: 10.0.26100.0 Problem is in the host, not in the ISO. The CHostIsNewerChecker seems to see something wrong. No idea why 26200 is being recognized for you. Is that a bug in revisions older then 6584?
Try changing the "CurrentBuild" and "CurrentBuildNumber" from "26200" to "26100". Change "DisplayVersion" from 25H2 to 24H2. Not guaranteed to work, but worth a try.
Not working, I’ve modified those and re-ran setup again. No use. I also restarted my computer after modifying the strings inside Registry Editor. 'CurrentBuild' and 'CurrentBuildNumber' were reverted back to '26200'. I had changed them from '26200' to '26100', but still no use.
