I just checked for updates and it pop up as an update did not say optional, also there was an Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.439.326.0) - Current Channel (Broad) up[date as well FYI was not complaining
Even with get latest updates off it will be offered.... so the only difference it's optional, I assume you have to push te button manualy
The problem is the 24H2 and 25H2 channels and MSFT screwing all up over and over and over again. On 24H2 it is offfered this way, on 25H2 it is offered that way, it is called a Preview update on catalog, in the blog it is an OOB update. What or however, it is offered in some way and it fixes the other f**k up by MSFT, the USB not working in WinRE.
I have it installed but WinRE still has none working usb. Do I need to run through W10UI to get the wim updated?
I just let WU install the LCU and rebooted into WinRE and i was able to use the wireless mouse and keyboard which didn't work when i was on 26200.6899. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1893891
I'll have to try it on my notebook. I didn't go through WU since I downloaded it for integration, I just ran it as a standalone install...
Ok, I let WU download and install LCU 6901 on my notebook - the usb still did not work in winre. Clean install with an updated/integrated install.esd using W10UI - All working. Fantastic!!!
As intended and tested working: KB5066835 (26x00.6899) installed by WU > causes the USB in Winre problems > installing KB5070773 (26x00.6901) > usb problems in winre fixed.
