I've got the same issue. So skipping 3080 base/checkpoint update is the fix? I checked the msft docs they still ask us to add 3080 plus latest CU alongside safeos and setup dynamic updates. Didn't face this issue on 24H2. I used Win 11 25H2 ISO
What same issue? The log in the post above yours doesn't show an error *because he set winre=0), iirc. He also is using ntlite, and then nobody can stand for the results. I always integrate both and never a problem, check the many, many, mauy (boring according to some here, posts of W10UI runs). All are 24H2 + updates.
It seems to be stemmed from latest ADK Dec 2024/25. I did check your posts before posting the issue. Then again, I replied in batutil thread. Moved away from ntlite to w10ui+unattended+ custom scripts with abbodi helping me out.

Windows 11 Insider Preview Feature Update (26220.7535) available in the Beta/Dev channel: should work for 25h2 26200 ? i mean i tried, install complets, after restart says wait for update , dont turn off but version dosent change
Switching between retail channel and beta/dev channel is a bit tricky and doesn't work online. It needs an inplace upgrade or clean install.
one can sometimes make it work by integrating them into a .1 image and doing dism /add-package /packagepath:…\update.mum /source:C:\mount\windows. Look in CBS.log to see what components could not be “hydrated”. I even had to do such things after adding FODs because of the checkpoint update nonsense why does not MS already publish unpacked components in the MSU, it is already 4+GB and not meant for online installs so it's not like they care about the space
Offline the EP + Updates can simply be integrated in a .1 or 1742 ISO (when talking about 26x00), i have no idea what you are doing there.. Never needed to do weird stuff for simple things as adding a fod, do you have an actual example and documented scenario? What is not meant for online installs?
Install LCU, add FOD from the FOD iso, try to reinstall LCU. It does not update the FOD because you have the .1 version, and it expects .1742. Meanwhile .1742 cannot be reinstalled either because it is already superseded. If you don't fix it now, any further LCUs will fail to install from WU Forward deltas were invented because of WU. Manual installs should prioritize convenience, not size. They don't care about size anyway because they ship the same AI .appx files inside.
Tell that to MSFT, i just publish the crap. I always say to use the 1742 ISO to avoid all problems you talk about, the .1 iso is not released for the public but for OEM's (but i also never install any fod from the fod iso either, i only test LP's for W10MUI tests and integrate netfx35 on all my tests and real projects, no longer available for 26H1).
the problem is that there is no .1742 FOD iso, and no .1742 FOD cabs either. They only published them in .1 version
I can't change that. 24H2 is just a f**ked up OS for hobby projects and switching between channels, 26H1 already is a problem too with changed index names and descriptions who aren't shown when upgrading.
There are some problems reported with that ADK version, iirc, drivers are not handled well when integrating them with dism, but i did not try nor experience that. Or maybe i did when i was testing my MDL SiMPLiX AiO ISO creation tool on my testpc, running 28000.1340 as host, the ISO it produced was not working correctly, running another test now.
