So not for current Enterprise? I currently have 26200.7628 installed, I assume this is not needed? thanks
Server, education and enterprise should all be able to handle hotpatches (iirc, server out of the box, the others need some setting but i really never played with it before, today i ran it for the first time to test. Hotpatch thread: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...indows-11-24h2-no-subscriptions-needed.88643/ 26100.7628 is the current OOB for 26x00
did not see this in the process of installing the 26200.7634 darn hope my system does not blow up, lol
On none of my tests it actually installed. You can check winver. I just accidentally deleted a 1TB partition on my second pc, testing to get it back
okay used the win10UI and it finished, forgot to get a screen of the progress. I rebooted just as a precaution and I am on the same build 26200.7628 no build change. weird.
That is what i said, the update showed: Code: 1/2: windows11.0-kb5043080-x64_CP_LCU_1742.1.10.msu [Combined UUP] Not Supported: Windows11.0-KB5078167-x64_HotPatch_7634.1.4.msu [HotPatchUpdate]
darn wish I was paying attention to the output dont remember seeing that line but I guess all is good I am still on 26200.7628 and everything works...
Is there a command to see what Service stack version is install, I tried update history but not sure, thanks
Code: dism /online /get-Packages /format:table >"%userprofile%\Desktop\Packages.txt" This should help, it should show installed packages and stuff.
The hotpatch "installed" manually on one laptop, while failed on the other. However, the version on the one on which "installed" still says Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26200.7628]. Also, the hotpatch shows as installed in wumt, but cannot be uninstalled with .msu /uninstall, probably because it is only flagged as installed at some level but in fact it is not installed which appears to be true from a brief analysis of the cbs.log.
So, actually it didn't install This one is a weird one, according to the bodster. The filename lacks the word "Hotpatch" and it is strangly of a higher build compared to the usual lower build for the hotpatches vs normal updates.
This is in the CBS.log Appl:Hotpatch package Package_for_HotpatchFix_7634~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~26100.7634.1.4 found and opRevisionCompare set to 1 Few more other references as well.
No luck there, good thing is that i can't even remember what was on the drive, so i assume it was not really of any importance, else it would have been on my NAS and cloud storage It was on my second system, it only is in use for updates integration tests and vbox x86 test installs or HWID tests.
