22631 is the testing number for Microsoft, we might still be on 22621, when it rolls out

MS has announced a few weeks ago, that 23H2 will be 22631 with the enablement package KB5027397.
22621 will still remain as 22H2.

    Ok thanks
But 23h2 will not be a new build (like 235xx or something) ?

No, builds in the Dev Channel are to test new features before they are made available in the Beta Channel builds. The builds in Dev channel are not tied to any specfic release.

Windows Updates is acting up and is no longer showing updates again.

Can I just download the hotfixes and install them one by one like installing programs?

The last patch tuesday updates were from August 8, and the optional ones from August 22. what updates are you expecting?

You can always install updates manually or by using W10UI.

I was expecting Defender updates, as they always come.

    Now it's stopped.

Granted, I don't use Defender so it's not a problem. I guess I'll come here for the Cumulative updates.

    Thanks, Enthousiast.

I know, I'm just saying, the flow of updates has stopped, regardless of what they are.

Well, I will come here to download what I need and that's the end of it.

Defender can also fetch updates directly, if it has done that, they don't appear in WU, anymore.

I understand the support for win11 22h2 enterprise goes until October 2025, after that if you download cumulative from 23h2 and install at 22h2 will it work then?
until the end of 23h2 which must be in October 2026

the difference between 22621 and 22631 is one small Enablement Package update, so why are you asking about this?
of course it can be installed on the same Enterprise SKU because the minimum version will stay as 22621.1, but new features would be blocked without the 23H2 Enablement Package
