Im running latest Windows 11 Pro. I have disabled Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power for all my USB ports and devices but WIndows 11 from time to time enables it anyway by itself. Is this common? What can I do so Windows 11 respect my settings? Thanks in advance.
1. Create your rule for power mode 2. Disconnect the hibernation, enter in the command line powercfg -h off 3. Disconnect the energy saving bios CMD: powercfg /list: displays a list of available energy consumption plans in the system. powercfg -setactive GUID: sets the plan for the active power of the system specified in Guid. You can get Guid by completing the previous command. powercfg /delete GUID: Removes a power supply circuit associated with the specified Guid. powercfg -hibernate OFF: Disaches the sleeping system. powercfg /energy: analyzes the energy efficiency of your computer and creates a report in HTML format. powercfg /lastwake: Determines the reason why your device has come out of the sleeping mode.
Im on a laptop. Does it matter? I have turned every power settings to performance. I just turned off all power saving for all my USB ports and devices then after a reboot some of those ports was enabled for power saving again. Its annoying that WIndows cant respect a such thing.
