StartisBack(TBD) disables the UniversalWatermarkRemover on my PC. Oops, I didn't notice the disclaimer: This download is intended for Windows 11 build 22000 only.
In the screenshot? Absolutely. In reality? Looks great on my 23 inch eizo VA panel from 1.4m distance. Onboard intel HD 4000 via DVI, 1080p scaled 125%, ClearType tuned oops. you meant the big blue one - yeah it's weird in reality as well, most likely a stretched image resource via Paint-3D(tm) by microsoft intern
Windows 11. The scrollbars do get rounded when hovered (and enlarged) natively. I only use Open-Shell for the StartMenu (no classic explorer etc installed), and StartIsBack for the taskbar and explorer tweaks (never combine, classic context, windows 7ish explorer)
Ah! Okay. OldNewExplorer Does the same thing, brings back the Windows 7 explorer features. I asked because those rectangular address and searchbar looks weird in conjunction with the rounded captions bar but you can always bet on the Microsoft design team to do the wrong thing. Latest and greatest example is the Windows 11 Icons.
Where are you looking for it? Are you really looking for it in the StartIsBack menu? This is the StartIsBack topic here and there is no need to write about other things here. For another problem, open a new topic.
Do you have the keylogger task running? Code: schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\TextServicesFramework\MsCtfMonitor" /Enable schtasks /Run /TN "Microsoft\Windows\TextServicesFramework\MsCtfMonitor"
Quick Launch toolbar can be enabled and program icons can be ungrouped. Tihiy did a great job with this. StartIsBack brings back the look and feel of the Win7 start menu. OP said it enables the taskbar of Win10, not the start menu of Win10. @Xtreme21: OP does mention a new feature in his title: "allows Win10 taskbar".
I never commented upon it allowing Win 10 Taskbar. I just questioned whether it needed it's own thread, it's been posted several times and is also being discussed in recent pages of the Tweaks Fixes and Mods thread. I asked because none of the other new tweaking stuff for Win11 has its own thread, DefenderUI, Explorer Patcher, Start11 etc. But so be it. As it is atm StartIsBack breaks the Win-X menu (naming - where ppl add their own stuff), I noticed this last night when launched my Win-X menu and noticed it broken. For now and as mentioned in my post, all this stuff is obviously in early betas. As I do add lots of stuff to Win-X menu, Explorer Patcher and Start11 are currently my way around - doesn't break the Win-X menu.
StartIsBack does "fix" a few reservations I had about Windows 11 It restored... Classic Ribbon and Classic Context Menu Spoiler Quick Launch Spoiler Taskbar button grouping Spoiler Start Menu Spoiler
Apologies. Very mis-leading info regards restoration of the Quick Luanch bar removed. I was mis-understanding and doing it wrong, subsequently apologised to @freddie-o and @PointZero for my insistence and being bamboozled!
