The new Media Player does not appear in the list. Films and TV does. I tried browsing to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.ZuneVideo_10.22091.10031.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe and selecting Video.UI.exe but it didn't work.
This causes the Microsoft Store app itself to run using the discrete GPU. Media Player is still not using the discrete GPU. Strange, because selecting the Films and TV app to run on the discrete GPU actually runs it on the discrete GPU (you can see activity in the task manager for that GPU, and youcan see Video.ui.exe listed in the Nvidia GPU activity monitor taskbar icon and app). So both Films and TV app and Media Player app use Video.ui.exe but only the Films and TV app can be configured to use the discrete GPU. I guess I can live with that and just use the Films and TV app instead.
Thank you. This worked. I must be going blind. After seeing your post what DJxSpeedy was saying finally clicked. Thanks goto DJxSpeedy too.
I see you have the Killer Network intelligence app installed. I hope you realize that bloatware slows down your internet big time with its snakeoil bandwidth management. This is the number one complaint on all forums. run services.msc and disable all Killer related services, then uninstall that bloatware Killer app and reboot and watch your internet come back to life.
its always disbaled until i need bandwidth control, some game launchers dont limit bandwidth such as xbox Also, i dont have issues with the killer software, 5ms ping full download and upload with and without it Ive seen lots of ppl complain about poor internet with it though

Use winget install winget to install an auto update to keep apps up to date without using a 3rd party app.
I said it yesterday and I repeat it today, everything that is installed with the operating system such as Xbox, games, Microsoft Edge, ... consume PC resources in the background, because they do not make a clean system and those who want it can install it from the Microsoft Store For example, at work I am not going to play Xbox... now if you want to try those applications, try it in the Insider Preview compilations to see that they work but they should deliver a clean system and each one then put what they want from the Store and with this the ISOS would weigh less
I can suggest that any modifications to the operating system should be done with caution, as they could potentially cause issues or security vulnerabilities. It's important to ensure that any modifications made to Windows 11 are done with proper knowledge and understanding of the potential consequences. It's also a good idea to create a system restore point or backup before making any major changes to the operating system. If you are unsure about how to make specific tweaks or modifications to Windows 11, it may be best to consult with a qualified IT professional or seek guidance from reputable online sources.
@maria85 I am going to take advantage of the failure in this link, one thing is that they tell you or advise you on certain ways to treat the ISOS, but as far as I know the ISOS that are posted here are original, then advice if you do not have TPM or other issues that Everyone is free to do it, no one forces anything, the one who does it is because they want to or like me, I usually screw up and I like to learn from my mistakes. in that I have set up computers a lot of things the only thing that failed me was the software and here I am learning a lot
I make the modifications personal, apart from that later I test the system, and if it goes well I leave it if I don't review it again anyway I think that here it is not allowed to do or upload anything modified then you can do what you want on your pc, the isos here are ORIGINAL
