I did say create your own reg with those values
Ive added the line ...but its not meant to be a full reg file, each one is titled with values underneath, some ppl might not want all of them

it disables it, not remove it completely
maybe I need to change the text.
like Temporary remove

 

Now make sense, well is ok to disable it, what's matter is that the change is permanent unless i re-enable it on purpose. Thank you.

 

Hello, so i've tried your script on a clean LTSC 2021 installation and is work properly, defender stopped and also disappeared from the right click, however when i boot windows i still get a message in the notification area (taskbar on the right), that windows defender is disabled and i should enable it, it appear just once everytime i boot into windows, you know a way how to stop such notification? Is not a big deal since after some seconds disappear, but stil.

 

Settings .. notification.. security notification.. cancel

 

I know, but don't work even if all the notifications are already completely disabled, however was able to disable it from the 3 dots on the top right of the pop-up message.

 

Is there a tweak to disable automatic restart after a Windows Update? I had a long duration task running last night and it got interrupted because of this.

 

Use group policy for that ..
Search admx site for 'windows update'

 

Winkey+R to bring up run and then type gpedit.msc, then go to admin templates > windows components > windows update > legacy policies
Then go to where it states Turn off auto restart with logged on users and click on enabled and ok. Windows Update shouldn't automatically restart, until you restart your PC.

 

Thanks, both. Luckily I have Windows 11 pro. I wonder what the poor sods who have the Home edition will do? I suppose it is possible to install gpedit on Home editions.

Please. Help me to disable permanently windows 11 defender. My problem is that every time i try to install a downloaded exe file the defender delete because virus, but i want keep and install it. I install very often downloaded file and this problem is frustrate. I had an automatic tool but since few days does not work. Please a working automatic tool or a way simple for do this?

 

how to make taskbar smaller.? tried a registry file but didnt work.

 

Old trick with tablet mode is patched after new CU, i still search for new fix but for big taskbar
