I guess he posted the photos but didn't want to open the package so he just downloaded an ISO from somewhere else. He should at least have mentioned THAT in the post... 2012 LOL
for all who are interested in Valid / Genuine Microsoft isos ;Windows 2000 Professional With SP1 OEM Greek (original bootable with valid AutoCRC) Code: C25C819028F6FB0C6F75AF655E52D64288DBB556 *[ELL] el_w2k_sp1_SP1P_OEM.iso
My friend, I do not understand these things. It is important that I made it and I will bring it to you. It is authentic from the original cd rip of windows 2000 professional which includes sp1.
Aren't we talking about the same file? It's just that mine has a different date because I exported the cd rom files to the folder and from there on I made them iso files.
It's no longer the same file because you changed the content. Dragging the files to a burning program removes the boot loader. If you burn your ISO to a real CD, it will not boot on a computer without an operating system. And THAT is why we use specific programs to create the ISOs, that way we make sure the original content remains intact and untouched. EDIT: It's like having a document in a PDF file, and instead of sending me that file, you print the document, take a picture, and send the picture to me. It will look similar to the original document, but it will NEVER be the original document.
In truth Windows 2000 SP1 Greek that was posted is bootable ... so the method that claims to have used "ccpruss000" is false! since as you say dragging only the folders it cannot become bootable. however for the uninitiated it has been scientifically proven that the number of the SHA1 is not unique but two different files with the same SHA1 may exist my curiosity ... but have all versions of Windows 2000 been released ?! (RTM, SP1, SP2 ...) or just a few and it depends on the language
I never created a custom ISO with ImgBurn, but it most probably has an option to make ISOs bootable as every burning programs do. And yes, 2 files could have the same SHA1, but good luck finding them, as the pool of combinations is huge, probably over 10^40... If I'm not mistaken, there used to be lists of all known hashes, but for whatever reason they were deleted from the "repository" topics, which are now anything BUT repositories. Deleting links for ISOs i understand, but the info about ISOs should have been left intact.
has somebody original MSDN (or retail) versions of win2k SP2 and SP3? I have no idea where to get them. I have retail RTM and SP4 versions, but not SP2 and SP3.
