In case of stamps and coins yes, they can become valuable over time if they are rare and/or old. But I can't see lighters, keychains or pens collections becoming valuable... I guess some people just like to collect things, with or without future value. I simply collect the ISOs as a hobby, maybe one day I'll make an AIO DVD and share it with everyone, that way all versions will be in one place (original SHA1 hashes would be kept of course )
Life is too short to collect **** piece of code (in iso form or any other), but if that makes you happy... Enjoy Christmas
Life is to short to spend any time on computers, but we still do it from time to time. I'm guessing Windows 2000 has value for those who used it from day one and suddenly realised Microsoft had finally made something that worked. To me it is still the best OS they have ever made, it was an OS and nothing else, and that is what a OS should be. Nowadays MS caters for the iDiots and have totally lost the plot.
Life is too short to worry about OS on anything that one uses... honestly. And if it not so for you guys, then wait a bit, it will come one day
