Just curious, has anyone heard anything ab out a windows 7 7300 version coming out soon?
soon (tm), however might still not be today or even this weekend, but im sure it will be next week if not sooner
ill say next month there only still working on pre RTM builds
News from Wzor:
We still have no reliable information on the passage of the signing of the release and the technical parameters of the final RTM build Windows 7.
We look forward to receiving information from the "shop" is now closer to 24:00 Moscow time.
- We still do not have any information shedding light on the developments in MS! As soon as we receive accurate information so we will inform you immediately
what is the reason for all these builds? i'm confused. are any of them anti-timebombed?
The final one will be without timebomb
Thanks SoloR - keep us updated.
BTW - 7260 is from the RTM branch, so if they started producing RTM builds I think that SoloR is (as always) - right We will probably see the final RTM build next week. I am not sure if we have a confirmation the same time it is released that it's the REAL final - probably will take some days to confirm (but again - just my predictions).
ok thanks. also does 7260 have any new features?
There weren't any new features introduced since RC builds (71XX, except maybe XP mode that was added later),
and there won't be since from RC build all features remain frozen, and there are only bug fixes and some cosmetic changes (like e.g. new icons wallpapers etc.)
hopefully not for couple weeks, just spent two days downloading and upgrading to the 7260(ha)have a good one.
Thx a lot Mate. We appreciate your heads up. Please keep us advised.
How very tru. I was just curious if what I heard was true. Thx Mate.
According to MSDN/Technet news to subscribers reserved, it seems RTM will be out on 26th of this month, so let's stay tuned.
Nice , thanks for the info.
Actually i noticed one new thing in 7260(could have been already on 7229,7231 and 7232 too).If you open IE8 you notice the default search provider is not Live Search anymore. Its Bing(new MS search engine)
