The final one will be without timebomb Thanks SoloR - keep us updated. BTW - 7260 is from the RTM branch, so if they started producing RTM builds I think that SoloR is (as always) - right We will probably see the final RTM build next week. I am not sure if we have a confirmation the same time it is released that it's the REAL final - probably will take some days to confirm (but again - just my predictions).
There weren't any new features introduced since RC builds (71XX, except maybe XP mode that was added later), and there won't be since from RC build all features remain frozen, and there are only bug fixes and some cosmetic changes (like e.g. new icons wallpapers etc.)
hopefully not for couple weeks,just spent two days downloading and upgrading to the 7260(ha)have a good one.
According to MSDN/Technet news to subscribers reserved, it seems RTM will be out on 26th of this month, so let's stay tuned.
Actually i noticed one new thing in 7260(could have been already on 7229,7231 and 7232 too).If you open IE8 you notice the default search provider is not Live Search anymore.Its Bing(new MS search engine)
As a newbie I have a question, is RTM the final version of windows 7? the same one thats gonna be out on october 22 ???
RTM - ready to manufacture. Answering question - yes, but it may differ from continent to continent (EU will receive a version without IE integrated - dubbed 'E' )
