hi guys, i use the Backup & Restore that comes with Windows 7 frequently. everything works great on it. it does everything i need it to. have been using it since Windows 7 was released.

But until lately, i never had a need to restore. i restored to a working image a few times, successfully, and without a hitch.

    No problems so far.

But .. i notice a problem occurs if i try to Backup an image that was restored from a restored image that was also a restored image.
Backup fails in this case. it keeps saying i don't have enough space, but i have 500gb free.

Anyone know where Windows stores the information regarding whether the image is restored, and how many times?
i think this is the culprit.

I think M$/Windows limits how many times a restored image can be backed up.

    Any insight would be great.
