firefox stores its bookmarks in your roaming appdata folder in appdata\roaming\mozilla firefox\profiles\yourprofile it is bookmarks.htm or something like that.

In the future get xmarks for Firefox. It will store your bookmarks online and let you sync/retrieve them from the server.

hschronic is right. but if you ever get opera this is what you do. go to opera>file>import and export>import opera bookmarks> C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\profile\opera6.adr

I just copy \users\'username'\appdata\roaming\opera(versionnumber) from the 1 to the other. That way it also takes your wand passwords, skinsetting etc.

Bit of an OT but i use FEBE addon for Firefox.Example:
At 16:00 time i was using FF 3.0.11 under Vista SP2.At 16:15 i was running the same profile(bookmarks, passwords, cookies, themes, addons and all accompaning settings) under Windows 7 7260 in Firefox 3.5 RC1 ;)

The power of backup and restore:D

nice explanation for upgrading my old win 7 to this 7260. Let me organize it just a little bit more so l will understand it better:
    1. When you put in the disc, select open folder to view files.
    2. Right click on setup.exe
    3. Click on properties.
    4. Click on the compatability tab.
    5. Under compatibility mode, click in the box-run this program.
    6. Select windows vista service pack 2.
    click apply, okay.
    7. Now double click on the setup.exe file to get install to run.(choose not to get the latest updates. Can get those later)
    8. When the install gets to the expanding windows files part, the computer will reboot at a certain point. Remove the disc before it reboots, or install will run again. good luck. have a good one upgrade.

Can this be done for future builds as well until RTM instead of a clean install?

have to update what i said about how to use image burn.if you put in a blank disc, will see the option to burn an image(using image burn).click that.then click the browse to file button, and browse to the folder with the file in it.i said earlier that had to select write files to disc.have to do it that way if you run the program by the desktop shortcut.hope this explains it better.
