Sorry guys, I'm a little lost. I saw this message in wzor: SENSATION: Microsoft Windows 7 (Client / Server) build RTM - FINAL WILL leak after June 19, 2009 ... WZor&Ko! If I have not misunderstood anything, RTM is actually the 7200 version, so, is this last leak (7260) "newer" than RTM?
7200 is NOT RTM. This 7260 build is the first leak of the winmain.rtm branch when the RTM is signed off on, then it will be released internally as build 726x, and then rebranded build 7300 and be released to manufacturing.
ALL ISO currently are broken, MS changed something in installation procedure and "simple" ISO loader from 7229 does not work anymore. Someone will probably find a solution but will take bit longer.
Code: Currently, there is a problem involving the fact we use an older version's (7229) installers with a newer (and different branch) VHD file. So, any of the ISOs you see on any torrent sites WILL NOT WORK. You will recieve an error after the first reboot during the install indicative of a problem. This is likely that there is a large differentiation between the instructions in 7229's install.wim and 7260's unpack files. SoLoR, Gosugoon and Vasil have recognized the problem and removed their torrents. We are currently working on finding a workaround. Until then, 7260 cannot be installed, it can only be booted into via a Virtual Machine.
Ok, word is now that using the 7100 loader with the 7260 VHD is working. New ISOs are being compiled at this current time and should be up soon. Thanks to Hofi, SoLaR, and everyone at Windows7Center for finding a work around.
