actually 16385 was build 13th so not necessarily old. Tho

"As DailyTech pointed out, a build number in the OS's ID string was 16384"

so blog itself is referring to old build which wasn't final build as we all know...

About another link where MS people are saying on 13th that final build hasn't been made can be true or BS. During that time only 16384 was leaked so who knows...

Any build could be RTM. Just because MS used 16386 for Vista RTM doesn't mean they will do it again for 7. They could do it though. It is all speculation until it's confirmed (as in SHA1 on TechNet) we can not be sure. I advise anyone not willing to reinstall windows over an over or play in virtual box to wait till rtm is confirmed. It doesn't really matter if you get a day after some other people.

i'm wondering whether people even bother to read in detail first before posting it here. that post from dailytech is dated 14th july. super old news. its 16th here and going to 17th soon. and the best part is he claimed 16385 is not final but the post inside states 16384. LOL
