@ Navy Dave, you were told to validate using IE not Firefox.

If I install IE validate it, then re load Firefox would that work? Also would I also be able to update with the upgrades?

    Thank you

If you can't fix, don't fight with the problem! Fresh install is the solution, grab an clean and untouched W7 version, install it and activate with Daz's Loader. Don't forget to backup your data.

    Hi everyone

Update as to whats happening with this now.....

Re Installed IE (9) and validated Win 7 - the message has disapeared now - woo hoo

thanks to everone one of you who has offered help and assistance in this I really do appreciate it. :worthy:

But I have a couple more questions (probably dumb ones!)

    1) Can I go back to Firefox or would it cause probs again?

    2) Can I continue to collect the updates from Microsoft or should I not even think about that?

thank you all once again for the help and support

    Regards

    Dave
