I successfully activated Windows 7 with a Gigabyte certificate but everytime I start Windows I have to reinstall the certificate. Why is this happening? I did previously have a HP SLIC 2.1 and certificate then I updated the bios with a Gigabyte slic 2.1 and certificate.
Mmm, not sure if this will work but might be worth the try 1) run slmgr.vbs -rilc from a elevated command prompt (this reinstalls all Windows internally used license files) 2) run slmgr.vbs -ilc {path to your Gigabyte certificate} from a elevated command prompt
