I run "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta" on Windows Vista SP2 and did NOT say anything about Tune-up Utilities 2009 witch I have installed on Vista.

In other words I have not installed Windows 7 or Upgraded Windows Vista to Windows 7, I just run the 'upgrade advisor' to see what program/devices I need to uninstall or remove before doing an upgrade.

I have not see any comments here yet as Windows 7 RTM 7600-16385 is already out there (even before the Oct 22nd 2009 deadline)

Basically you don't need a list, nearly (I said nearly) everything that worked with Vista will also work with Seven, except some softs who needs to installs drivers (ex: firewall) or use some special framework stuff, those need to be updated.

    I tried
Daemon Tools works (ignore the compatibility issue warning M$ gives you).
    PerfectDisk 10 works
    PerfectSpeed works
    AVG Pro 8.5 works
Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business v12 works
Symantec Endpoint Protection v11 MR4 works
@Myrrh To make a clean install you need to extract and run LUSETUP.exe (liveupdate) first, restart and then run Setup.exe or it will just rollback during the install and not install.

    WINDOWS 7 RTM:

    WORKING:
    Antivirus:
1.Kaspersky antivirus 6 for MPC public RC release (the only working kaspersky version)
    2.AVG 8.5 (any flavor:D)
    3.Norton 2010 beta

    System tools:
    1. Daemon tools, worked with warning - just make sure download the new sptd update.
    2. perfectdisk

    Apps:
    1. almost all apps would run, only security and system tools are exceptions.

    NOT WORKING;
    1. Norton 2009 (its working but driver for heuristics is blocked) Symantec will release an update but as of today no updates are available for win7. expect symantec wont release an update until the launch date, so that users will install the beta for their symatec's interest

    EXPECTING:
    1. comodo firewall (please comodo do it now) i cant live without you.

what i meant was Kaspersky 2009 and 2010 dont officially support windows 7. yeah it may work but there will be performance issues and remember no customer support. kaspersky will release a new kaspersky product for win7 judging from their beta and announcement.

as of comodo it can be run but also not officially supported.

IMHO never use antivirus or system utilities which doesnt support the OS.

avg 8.5 officially supports win7 but also like others i experience slowdown compared to kaspersky public rc.

    peace.

    Everything with no problems

Office 2007 SP1 when I install normally it takes eons, when I install with XP sp2 compatibility it is normal, go figure. The program itself runs fine

CDBurnerXP has given me problems, after a couple of burns my machine just turns off, I have not had this with any other burning software (Infra,ImgBurn,UsefulUtils Discs Studio) not sure what to make of it since it seems like a harware issue (its like the computer just gets unplugged and it won't turn on for a couple of minutes, maybe an overheating issue with the PSU?), but it only happens with this one app....
