You know, MS is a pretty big corporation and is able to detect everything, even where you live, lol. The question is will they wish to detect these sorts of windows' users' activities, and since they don't wish even to detect patched WGA in XP... I think patched BIOS is the last thing they'd care about.
MS could start tracking the motherboards that OEM put in their products and deactivate based on the SLIC vs Motherboard make and model, SN ie ASUS p6t deluxe is not used by any OEM so refuse to activate or only activate boards that have a SN that fall in a certian range. cracking down like that is unlikly and will only encourage someone to really crack their activation scheme, just like what happend to blu-ray
Your activator did the trick I have an Intel DP45SG board, which I believe to be causing some problems with the other activators. I have tried 7 loader (Hazar), w7ldr 1.0.1.9 (untermensch), Windows 7 Loader (versions 1.5.2 through 1.6.2) and Wow 7.0.1b (hazar) to activate Windows 7 Ultimate RTM x64 and they failed each time . Today I tried your activator and to my big surprise windows 7 activated! Thank you so much! Keep up the good work!
Windows 7 is not active on virtual machine Hello k.pedersen Before I install Windows 7 on my hard drive I decided to test it on a virtual machine I can not activate the version of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on wmare.I execute all 3 modes, but does not work Some can give me a hand, please.
It's not a secret it doesn't work on vmware. Try real hardware, there you'll have at least fifty-fifty of success.
I, I am new here and this is my first post I've been trying to activate my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with this program but i get an error message when patching the bootmgr Code: Unable to find windows boot drive I have it installed with a Windows Vista x64 in dual boot. I tried to take control of the bootmgr but the same error appears. Is there some solution for this?
im getting this when i run as admin and normal Error Failed to Back Up files Installation will not continue What can be the problem?
I got a RED boot screen, lost all my data and had to reformat presented with about 8 boot options and none worked i feel fooking sick Ultimate x64 btw - in the interest of testing!
Thanks a lot! However, it didn't activate a win7 x64 ultimate install in vmware (already mentioned by others too). So, if this won't work (and can't be fixed?), is there any other method that might? I already tried "loader by daz" and all it did was make the OS unbootable (red screen, etc...). Any suggestions? Edit: Nevermind, after some trial and error, RemoveWAT seems to work well.
Hi, Using this Dev. Activation patch on my Sony VAIO with Windows 7 Ultimate locked me out, as soon as it tried loading Win7Ult it just went into a REBOOT cycle. How do I un-install kb780190.EXE? Cheerz
The activator (kb780190) works GREAT. Tested it on two Intel Boards without any problems. Most comments about the negative functionality of this activator are probably debunkers trying to stop or hinder further development . DO NOT LISTEN TO IT K. PEDERSEN AND KEEP TESTING...
Tested it on TWO dual boot Intel machines without any problems. I think there is just to many debunkers on this thread. Keep on testing Karsten
MSTester what.. I'm really suprised that microsot WAT update did not disable this "slic in bootmgr" method. are you sure? does it says "windows validated succesfully"? anyway SLIC in bootmgt is not recommanded for several reasons, I will elaborate why: 1) it fails in most cases and it does not work for everyone (boot errors/problems, stuck at "starting windows") some users also can't use this option because bootmgr can't be replaced for them due to some permissions problems. 2) it mostly work for users that already have SLIC 2.0 in their bios'es. 3) microsoft can update/patch bootmgr (WU/SP) and disable it in the future (so you will be stuck with boot errors OR no activation) on vista: bootmgr is updated after SP2, however you can replace the bootmgr again but may not work for you. 4) this tamper with windows boot file (bootmgr). the only advantage of using bootmgr to loader the slic tables is that you will have a slightly lesss boot time since it place the slic in windows own boot manager.
