It's not the script's fault. Why would you do that? Mindblowing.

Not really. I was testing it. Ever hear of that brainiac?

It is the scripts fault. It said you can't install an x86 version over an x64 install. I was selecting 64 bit ultimate.

fetish, it's not a problem strictly related to THIS script.
You can easily check ANY OTHER AIO DVD and you'll obtain the same error, i think.
The fact is that the only thing that AIO DVD are using from the x64 DVD is the INSTALL.WIM, while the BOOT.WIM and all the other files related to the DVD BOOT are coming from the x86 DVD.
So it's pretty clear that you cannot use such a DVD to Upgrade (or even to Repair...) an x64 installation.

Why can't you just not remove the updates from folders before running script.

I do not want to get run "start.bat" and after 3-4 hours of repacking image, when the updates must be included, give me some error...I think the command lines must be deleted from start.bat...or NOT?!!

just empty the x86 and x64 folders inside updates

so you have two empty x86 and x64 folders

I'd rather have one disk to install window 7 with. My question is two-fold? Is using the AIO as successful as using separate disks with x32 and x64. If yes, can someone link to a AIO package without any loaders and/or activation scripts in it or tell me what folders and files to remove or whatever? I'm a beginner so simple instructions would be appreciated if possible :)

    Thanks

That appears to be correct Clay. Thanks for the explanation. It is not the script.

    Hi there!

Edit the start.cmd and remove the :eek:em part at the bottom, and remove all "CALL :eek:em" and it will not install any activation stuff
