Do regular KMS servers (not ZWT) carry a white list or do they just activate any PC that requests activation? If they don't discriminate, then I can simply search for one and arbitrarily obtain activation.
Absolutely not. I'm always open to suggestions and probably I've just missed your previous post. Hmm. Do you mean that time only needs to be set correctly on both client and server (for their respective zones)? Seems to be true. If so, I'll drop time zone shifting and enforce time resync instead. P.S. Ok, done. Added w32tm /resync. As long as the clock on the server is right, that should be enough.
As WinFLP has pointed out, you only need your system time to be set correctly (for whatever time zone you're in). I'm sorry for this misunderstanding. It's really my fault because initially I didn't double-check some info. But I won't be so careless anymore.
They will activate any PC that requests, up to a limit of all Enterprise and Professional users in the world No need to search, open online servers are listed in this thread.
Heuristic.BehavesLike.Win32.ModifiedUPX.B!88 Packer.Win32.UnkPacker.a Sus/Keygen-A So two of them don't like it because it has UPX like file packing (which in itself is safe), and another doesn't like it because it's a keygen. All of these look like Heuristic false positives to me.
You made a great job Phazor!! I tested version 5.0 and works great with Win 7 Pro N. One guestion, how KMS shedule work? Thank you!
@ Phazor : Well done with V5, looks great. Have come quite a distance from your first version of this.
There is a section about this in the Help, maybe this will already answer you questions. If you want to know anything that goes beyond whats covered in the Help youre welcome to ask specific questions. I agree, its become pretty nice, and im not just saying this because i happen to be the one who made it but because i think it really didnt turn out too bad. Still all of this, even the schedule, is just a shell-product (in the true meaning of the word) which would be completely useless if it werent for ZWTs great allround KMS Emulator. Without their work this whole thing wouldnt even be worth the download so if you thank me you have to thank them first as it is their achievement alone that gives meaning to my work.
Excellent work with 5.0 !! One minor suggestion...on the main screen show whether your scheduler is already installed or not. I'd also move the check activation status to the main page and not under the misc. menu. Is it possible to write to the Windows Application or system log if the activation was successful? That could let us track the scheduled task success rate better.
Thanks for this, W2K8 R2 VHD trial from M$, 0x8007000D was happening no matter what, till -rearm & reboot, activated straight away! sebus
