Hey Phazor, just tried your KMS Activator 5.0 on a fresh VM of Win7 Pro. Got it to work after a few false starts, with odd DNS errors and such. It finally activated successfully after I used the command slmgr.vbs -skms 127.0.0.1:1688 from an administrator command prompt. I'm guessing your script left off the :1688 part or something. Anyway, my question is a bit off the beaten path. I have a few Linux systems on my network that run 24/7 and one of them would make a great KMS server for my network. I was wondering if ZWT has a Linux build of his KMS emulator, or if source code is available to allow porting to Linux? The benefit of that is then I could set up any number of Win7 Pro/Enterprise boxes on my network and point them all to this server and they can re-activate as needed without having to run kms.exe on each machine. No need for scheduled tasks or running things that some antivirus programs have a habit of flagging. Just run your tool to set things up initially with a key and initial activation, then let it use the Linux KMS server to maintain activation status afterward. Any ideas, suggestions? Possible? (I tried WINE but it wouldn't run). Thanks again, A guy who hates DRM in all forms, especially activation!
i also just got this Error: 0x8007232B DNS name does not exist doing (slmgr.vbs -skms 127.0.0.1:1688) from an administrator command prompt fixed it
Thank you, that fixed my problem. Can you Phazor fix this in version 6 of your KMS server now as we know how to fix it?
Well normally this is not necessary because 1688 is the standard KMS port anyway. But if it helps to avoid problems, sure, i can add it. (BTW, you can use 'LocalHost' instead of '127.0.0.1' too. Technically there is no difference, but i think its prettier than the numbers.) PS: Thanks to the people posting mirrors!
Hello. Can somebody help me with Windows 7 Ultimate E activation? I tried several bat and other activation tools, but they all say that "Error: product no found" Windows Version 6.1 Build 7600 TNX
I´ve had the same problem with the DNS and the hint from "apollopimp" helped. Thanks! I have tried this tool on Pro x86 & x64 and Ent x86 & x64 and 2008 R2. Sometimes i needed 3-4 activations requests. But everytime it worked! Weird, but i got the DNS problem only on the Ent Edition not on the Pro. Oh...by the way... PHAZOR you did a great job. This Tool is awesome! Thank you! Short Q: Is it possible to track back the Ent Edition which I got from "work"?
