Hrm, I never had a problem with activating, though they sure did make it more difficult with Enterprise editions
Yes, it's very easy to activate Win7 Enterprise (and Pro) but it has to be, since they are used by big companies with thousands of computers etc. Image a big company with 40.000 computers having to type in a unique product key for every computer they have...I think they had started using Linux before doing a ting like that.
it seem like it needs to be renew after 6 months. I have tried to set the clock to be 2012 and my win 7 enterprise N told me I have to activate now......
If you use KMS activation, you always needs to re activate every 180 days yes. If you use a MAK key, you don't need to activate every 180 day.
Hi. I need your help guys. I downloaded Windows Enterprise BIE ..but experienced problem with their Activator.. so I used RemoveWAT, but now after a few days I received a message that windows is not genuine.. So I removed it, and tried KMS Activator 5.0 and others.. and im having problems activating. I receive this error message in the cmd prompt ; Activating Windows(R) 7, Enterprise edition (ae2ee509-1b34-41c0-acb7-6d4650168 915) ... On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0 x8007000D' to display the error text. Error: 0x8007000D I tried removing KB1033 update that installed but still same thing happen. Please help I need to activate. Thanks .
Anyone using BIE should be banned for stupidity Get yourself a clean copy if 7 Enterprise or better 7 Ultimate and then use removewat.
@endreamer: check out forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/20524-Universal-KMS-Activator-%28KMSA-6.0%29-Preliminary-Tests-Part-II?p=330768#post330768 as I started out with the same failure report as you list here; I got it resolved, thanks to tools and people who are smart enough to go beyond the beyond the remark 'don't use BIE; you're dumb if you did'. The short answer is: a mix of IR4 and KMS fix v5 may get you out of there, as it did me. Daz Loader, RemoveWAT, etc. didn't resolve the issue. Applies to a Win7 64 Ent which has been updating MS KB#'s regularly up to about a week ago.
Possible BUG in KMS Activator 5.0 I have found in my copy of KMS Activator 5.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit edition, the option to set the KMS IP to 127.0.0.1 whilst reporting success actually fails to alter the value. to test I ran the command slmgr.vbs -skms 1.2.3.4:1688 which succesfuly changes the IP as shown by the check activation status option in KMS Activator 5.0. running option 2 in KMS Activator 5.0 reports success but the activation status shows it as unaltered. option 5 also fails to change it so subsequent activation fails. using the command slmgr.vbs -skms 127.0.0.1:1688 successfully changes the IP allowing KMS Activator 5.0 to activate Enterprise
No, its not a bug in the app. The function has been tested many times both alone and with Option 5 so i do know for certain that it works. (The command in the script is in fact identical to the one you entered manually, minus the port bit, since 1688 is default anyway.) Still thanks for reporting, even if i cannot tell you what went wrong in your case. PS: 6.0 will have the option to set the host machine name with or without the port bit. I have finished that part two days ago - tests were all positive.
i have this in option 4) "initiate...": "error: 0xc004f074 the software licensing service reported that the computer cold not be activated. the key management service (KMS) is unavailable" i run it as an administrator: "error: 0x8007000D...."
after the install of Windows 7 Enterprise You have to wait 2 minutes until the system is properly charged. You get this message if not all system files are loaded
Ok, so I have a copy of Windows 7 Enterprise which has expired. I downloaded KMS 5.0 and pressed option 5). But at the last step, when it should activate, I get an error. Error Code: 0xc004f035 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated with a Volume license product key. Volume licensed systems require upgrading from a qualified operating system. Please contact your system administrator or use a different type of key. What should I do? please give me a step by step solution. thank you
