Hi dudes!! I have a cracked version of Windows 7 Professional fully activated running in my laptop and would like to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition but the script published on the first page last year does not work for me (cannot run the txt file as Administrator). So could someone here be so kind to show me the best way to perform such an upgrade flawlessly?? Thanks in advance.
No...I'm asking how to upgrade from Windows 7 Professional to the Enterprise Edition using a script similar to the one published on the first page of this thread last year (through a pub KMS server or an VMware image). I Is the KMS Activator 5.0 script fit for purpose?? VirustTotal report shows that that file is full of malware.....
Thanks TITO...very helpful tip! So, if I got it right, the Registry tweak mentioned on the first link above is not enough to make a full upgrade because need to activate it afterwards...is that right?? But how about upgrade from Windows 7 Professional (or even Home Premium) to Windows 7 ULTIMATE?? Is there a similar trick for it?? Can't wait to hear from you!!
Ah ok..:LOL!! So first I have to upgrade my current Windows7 Pro (cracked version) to ENTERPRISE by applying the two tricks mentioned above. Then, I use that tool to downgrade to ULTIMATE even if I didn't buy it and thus don't have any DVD to install it but just a backup copy created by the OS...is that right?? In other words there is no way to directly upgrade my current Windows7 Pro (or HOME PREMIUM) to ULTIMATE....right?? Well...as matters stand, maybe I'd better download & install WINDOWS 7 ENTERPRISE /N with SP1-U dvd ISO x86/x64 MSDN (Multi-language), which has already shared here on another thread!! What do you make of it, TITO?? What version do you recommend me?? ULTIMATE or ENTERPRISE? What version is your PC running now?
Yes I quite understand what you said...the activation process is much easier with regard to the ULTIMATE EDITION!! But what if I got a MAK key? In such case the activation should be as easy and smoth as the ULTIMATE one...is that right?? So the question is: what's the main difference between the ENTERPRISE edition and the ULTIMATE one in terms of FEATURES?? Apart from the activation process, it seems to me that there is no difference among the two versions....am I wrong? Cheers
Yes I have a MAK key...but, as far you know, how many chances there are to be it blacklisted once being caught by Microsoft?? And finally another (probably silly) question for you... I have an original (preinstalled) copy of WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM running in my brand new home PC...so what do you suggest I should do?? To just UPGRADE from HOME PREMIUM to ULTIMATE by applying a couple of tricks shared on another thread of this awesome forum (don't remember exactly where now) or to make a clean install of the ULTIMATE edition (see your thread) and then activate it using DAZ loader?? In such case, can I overwrite it on the existing Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM or I'd better to format my HD first?? Can't wait to hear from you!! Bye for now!!
Ok thank you very much! So, if I got it right, as matters stand I don't need to download neither ULTIMATE nor ENTERPRISE even if I have a MAK KEY...is that right?? What I have to do is just to use Windows Anytime Upgrade for both of my PC (my Laptop running a cracked version of WINDOWS7 PRO and my Home PC with an original version of Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM running in it) and then apply the 7 Ultimate key from the above link....is it ok?? But how long do those keys usually work??
