Very nice....... just tried this in a vmware of Win7 Enterprise x64 worked first time! Thanks all for a great job!!!
Would i be right in thinking this doesn't need to activate on a public kms server? it is just redirected to your local host ip 127.0.0.1? so do i need to run the same routine every 180 days ?

    TIA

This fixed the problem on my x86 Enterprise machine.

Does the /rilc actually help, or is it more related to the rearm?

still can't activate my windows 7 pro machine using zwt keygen.
    I run slmg.vbs /rilc & skmgr.vbs /rearm
but it did not fix the problem for me, i get the same error 0x8007000D.

YES, it emulates a kms server via the loopback (it works offline), it gives the activation code info a real kms server would give.
after 180 days, just run keygen.exe and then slmgr.vbs /ato and you will be activated again.

OK, the file is up again.

I had to remove the 'sucess' bit from the CMD because it would say that even if it was not sucessful.

And that would be too confusing...

The actual sucess/failure info is now solely in the main CMD as Windows outputs it.

That way it is localized too.

I have also added a couple of things to the info file...

I just had that on a fresh Pro VM installation but it went away after disabling and re-enabling the LAN Adaptor.

And i believe that was the problem yesterday too. For some reason the VPC LAN Adaptor is in the habit of 'hanging' quite a bit (with some 'initializing' message) so i guess yesterday it just initialized the very moment i changed the timezone.

The timezone itself probably had nothing to do with that...

I think it's more related to the rearm (it reset the license activation)
anyway it does not work for me.
I hope someone will figure out what causing the "0x8007000D" error and how to solve it.

It's unrelated in this case. If it were about time mismatch you'd most likely get 0xC004F074, 0xC004F069 or 0xC004F06C. I assume something is wrong with the keygen. But I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure.

Anyway, you have several options. The simplest ones:

    1) Leave it as it is since Win7 doesn't have a limited functionality mode anyway. Your OS probably won't pass WGA checks if you'll want to download something from M$ website. But other than that you should be fine w/o activation.

    2) Use another method. For instance the one that removes activation mechanics completely. Again, it's possible, that you won't pass WGA, but also the OS won't nag you about not being "genuine".

I will keep testing this a bit more and let you know if i find anything of importance.

One thing i already found is that there seems to be sort of a 'point of no return' after which everything will fail no matter what you do. Check out my 'test-history':

    • Used it on an already expired Pro VM - Activated right away

    • Used it on a fresh Pro VM - Did not activate at first but then suddenly activated while i was in the timezone menu (with KMS.exe still running of course)

    • Used it on a fresh Enterprise EVAL VM - Could not get it to activate no matter what i tried

    • Used it on another fresh Pro VM - Could not get it to activate no matter what i tried (this was where i noticed that the LAN Adaptor was stuck on 'initializing', which probably was the case in the above case as well)

    • Used it on yet another fresh Pro VM - Did not activate at first but activated fine after i reset the LAN Adaptor and ran the exe a second time

    • Used it on another fresh Enterprise EVAL VM - Did not activate upon first and second run of exe but suddenly activated after these steps:

    1) Reset the LAN Adaptor

    2) Run the exe for the third time - script host again said 0x8007000D - but i let the exe run

    3) Go to the System page and use the 'Activate Online' option (which of course is the same as slmgr -ato, only via the GUI)

Of course i always started with the same things and processed in the same order in all 6 cases.

Conclusion: I am 99.9% positive that this problem is pure network related. I think if it fails then the KMS Server either cant be properly contacted by the system or it cannot send the proper reply to the system. (Probably the latter.) But once the communication works flawlessly in both directions Windows will activate perfectly on the spot...

    Hi to you all,

today I was able to successfully activate my second VMware Fusion 3.0.2 image running Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise German after taking the steps described here earlier:

    - slmgr -rilc
    - slmgr -rearm
    - reboot
    - 1st slmgr -ato --> Error Message "0x8007000D"
    - 2nd slmgr -ato --> Error Message "0x8007000D"
    - 3rd slmgr -ato --> SUCCESS!

Before I took these steps I've tried to just activate with 'slmgr -ato' serveral times (>10) and always got the error message.

I can't confirm that it's a problem with the networking so as I tried to let the keygen run on another maschine on the network and try to activate with this connection (so no loopback adapter used) --> no success.

Finally, I've activated 2 virtual maschines with 2 different approaches.

    Rgds,
    x-5

Played some more with this. I was able to get my Enterprise machine to activate against the "server" running on a Win7 Ultimate machine and XPPro machine over the network. Unfortunately it did not properly run on Windows98. The program ran, it listened on port 1688, but it did not issue activations, or display anything on the cmd window.

I don't know if this is 100% bulletproof as I thought the client computer stored the PID of the server, eventually being able to identify WHICH KMS server the computer activated against.

KMS is able to (and intended to) activate against any hardware. OEM:SLP is the only activation method that gives a s**t about SLIC

Can anybody test ZWT keygen on Windows 7 Pro x64 VMWARE virtual machine
I think it only work on windows 7 pro x64 real machine but not virtual.

    Phazor
    great job!
btw- please add credit to ZWT inside your program exectuable, after all they deserve it.
and I think option 5 should be option 1.
you should make that when the user click "1" or "Enter" the program will do all the work, it will be better and more user-friendly.

    Thank You.

Credits are there, both in the tooltip of the exe (Powered by ZWT) and in the info file.

The options-order as layed out now follows a logical structure (1-4 manually or 1-4 automatically) so i think it is best to leave it as it is.

Shuffling it around might confuse people who dont know that much about the process whereas with this layout they cant go wrong if they just follow 1-4 or use 5.

(Nothing personal, i just think its better that way.) :)
