I am currently running Windows 7 x64 Enterprise on my laptop and my laptop is a part of my company domain (windows 2003 server) ..I have a freedom to In-Place upgrade my laptop from windows 7 x64 enterprise to 8.1 enterprise if I want but before moving on I want to ask the following. 1. If I run Windows 8.1 x64 Enterprise setup(downloaded from VL Server) from my windows 7 client..would it upgrade everything without any problems? I dont want to rejoin domain and loose my profiles... Can anyone guide me how smooth can it be or I will face problems.
