@Tihiy Says Slighly improved cracking protection. Some AV programs may detect heuristic malware.

    thank you
lemme just test how efficient the new cracking protection is
and see if it's worth all the heuristic hits

    Edit: thought so

I used Beta0 and Beta1 a lot this past week. Aside from issues already presented, I've not had any problems at all. Thanks for all your hard work!

    Oh joy, lot of changes!

Changing start orb is huge advantage. Now it´s not only really functional, it´s quite looking smart too.

    @ace2
Where is the start orb!!! (looking smart).

From what i am reading over at msfn.org, StartIsback is beginning to sound like Start8 (It will no longer be native start menu experience) with all the addons (e.g Start orb).

Its not for me (Ex7ForW8 is).

In difference to Start8, StartIsBack only brings back the functionality, is still part of win 8 explorer. Tihiy only implemented back the parts were deleted by MS. To me this solution is far more usable than other "replacements".

Start orb were one of a coumple sample orbs came with start orb changer for win 7.

Working that much to have a Windows 8 without metro to look completely like Windows 7?

Furthermore not so stable and 100% sure it will lasts?

Only if MS will still allow it after GA....

    Hybrid boot?
    New file transfer?
    Ribbon Explorer?

nothing so fashinating and attracting to use Windows 8

Both, it is just matter of time that MS will allow "injecting" original start menu code...

All other softwares uses different methods and have less or different functionality than original 7 start menu...

Anyway Tihiy has done a great job,

Neither do I. WiFi connection works identical on XP, Win7 and Win8 for me. That's about 23 laptops, 8 desktops and a handful of all-in-ones out in the warehouse. Everything else is wired.

Search function is also identical on Win8 as it is in Win7. Both machines take a dump once you load up the index too much.
