    Who cares? It's more important to own an activated copy of Win7 than faking winver in my opinion.

    im not talking about activation, but about how to make winver looks like version 7.0

    Like we said, there are two possibilities of a faked winver.

    1. Changed winver on the pc with a "trick"
    2. Used Photoshop to fake the pic

    Please note that force-changing winver from 6.1.7600 to something like 7.0.7600 MAY lead to serious problems with software/drivers that performs a version check before installing (and doesn't know something like 7.0 of 7.1 because such a thing doesn't exist (yet)).

    May changing it in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion helps

    i already tried that, but seems that anything happens, it still shows in winver version 6.1

    You can try yamicsoft windows 7 manager.Under CUSTOMIZATION go to CUSTOMIZE SYSTEM.Look on system and you will version and build number.Change the two values to whatever you wish,save and reboot.Try and post result
