Too bad that the POSReady updates won't work for ordinary 7, like how they did for XP. I guess the only way is through that ESU bypass even if it's giving people some problems.
I am quite certain that there are not too many evil people sitting around with their already written malware, that they will release on Win7 users on January 15th? The ridiculous relations to Russia and China, that the US has constructed, will have some nice positive consequences for our "problem"... Lets just wait, shall we?
We may have failed in that communication, and I apologize for that. Most of our enterprise customers aren’t using Ultimate edition, so we didn’t have Ultimate documented. Has to make you wonder if ESU would work for all editions presuming they would just sell it to you....
maybe for most Win7 editions like Pro, Enterprise & Ultimate Home editions, on the other hand, like Home Basic & Home Premium - not so much
Not unless anybody makes a quick hackjob by obtaining the installation media of either ordinary Win10 or Win10 LTSC and carefully pick out some extra cruft from them. For now, LTSC 2019 is close enough to what anyone wants (and Microsoft should rightfully have this sold as an alternative, because not everyone wants forced telemetry and advertising crap all around).
