Your boot order really shouldn't matter as long as you don't have a boot CD or DVD in your drive. The Modom shouldn't make a difference either but I'd just unplug it for test sake.

No problem, we all have things that slow us down. You have several people pulling for you so hang in there, it'll all work out one way or another.

Yeah I didn't think it did matter what the order was. I've always had all my computers to boot off of CD first then hard drive.
Thanks, Its nice to have all the help. I really appreciate it.
But it seems it'll be awhile before I can get to the Wifi spots. The closest one is like 3 miles away.
And I've got a lot stuff going on, So yeah it'll be awhile before I can get an new ISO.

I'll be sure to come back and post here as soon as I get one.

If you do have surrounding Wifi around you that is locked with WEP, you should consider looking into Backtrack Linux

I have one next door, but I didn't really want to resort to hacking they wifi lol.
But I don't think I'll have to do it. I'll be going to a friends this weekend and pick Windows 7 up. then.

But I might have to give that back track linux a try :). Sounds like that might be interesting to play with.

It really is fun to play with. You just have to have certain WiFi card chipsets to use it. I do hope your Windows 7 install works though. It is so much better than Vista was ever; the only thing I like about it was the Vista Aero theme but you can get it in Windows 7 by patching a few DLL's

Well picked up the Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 Media refresh ISO.
And I burned it at 2X speeds. I'll be giving it a try in the morning or I'll do it on Monday. But I do got it.

Alright I'm back :D, And so far everything has went very good.
and no lock ups at the booting of the OS. I have a feeling through with my luck it'll do it again... :|
Well time to play the waiting game and see if the lock ups happen again.
    I'm hoping it don't though :)

Yeah I updated them not long ago to the latest version. Windows 7 did the same thing before the bios update as well. that's why I updated them. hoping that would solve the issue. but it did not.
I'm guessing Windows 7 just hates my computer.

Yupp, it just gives you Media Center, nothing else really except extra media center related drivers.
