[Windows 7] Freezing on "Windows is starting"

    Well that's it huh? Well thats not very useful to me. I don't even use Media Center... Oh well I might use that key to activate 8 on my laptop maybe :3

    Its only an update key. Its not a full installation key

    Oh I know that :) I read that you can have a windows 8 pro activated by KMS and then you can go from it to WMC key and become activated fully.
    But I don't really know if I'll do it. I might just use the key on mine to have the media center for the hell of it.

    Yea, thats what alot of people are doing. Its the "Legal Loophole" I guess. Like people cant afford $15....

    A legal loop hole? Its more like a legal gorge instede of a hole LOL. But yeah I'm I'm probable just going to leave Windows XP on my laptop and buy another windows 8 for the laptop in the future instead of using the ''legal loophole''. it might a problem in the future... I don't want to take that risk.
    And Heck If I could I would buy another one for 15 dollars. but I lack the credit card to get one at that price.
    (I bought a retail box set :p)

    Wish I could'v gotten it for $39... I paid $69 for mine. but I did get a nice box at least :tooth:

    Wow, this was a great thread to read through! Never happened to me to get caught like that! Thanks for all the great advices I found here, like the vista\8 theme for w7.
    The fact is I have the same problem here, but I'm going to try Daz's advice, maybe windows loader doesn't uninstall completely, who knows.
