Windows 7 have problems fetching Office 2016 updates

    Just Installed Office 2016, activated Microsoft Update, searched for updates... the result as you see
    do you have windows update KB2999226 installed?

    your office is c2r, it doesn't update through Windows Update
    do you even read posts? :D

    No problem here with office 2016 volume on 7_x64 SP1, all 2016 updates installed.

    I've installed Windows 8.1 in the test pc. I'll format it later again

    Remember, that's one of the "evil" updates. :rolleyes:

    OP, if you do end up reinstalling Windows 7, see if you can get any Office updates before running any of these update removal scripts. Because I'm pretty sure you'll be able to.

    Just installed as normal install, activate and update through MU.

    JUST re-installed office 2016 volume version right now checking for updates, got them all.

    I don't know but something goes wrong with your install, checksum MD5, SHA are ok???

    You're Windows 7 is up to date when you install Office???

    Not related, but to be sure, have you run windows disk cleanup after Seven updates?, if not try it?

    Have you ever look in Windows eventlogs if something goes wrong at time you've installled office???

    After install you've 16.0.2466.1001 version???

    Sorry,Again and again asking MicrosoftUpdate enabled???

    I have all ok but I can't find it.

    Leave it. I'll install Windows 8.1. I'm very tired trying things.

    Can any mod close this thread? I'm very tired and I decided to install Windows 8.1.

    Merry Christmas
