Updates starting with KB9x should install first, followed by KB2x. It also supports KB3x and KB4x, not that they are needed. More can be added later very easily if needed
Thanks b, will test as soon as SoLoR posts his obsolete list BTW IE9x should also be set to run after kb9x
I just looked into RT7L's faq - as it turns out it probably supports other files as well, under Integration->Applications (next to Language Packs tab). So, I d probably give it a go including the latest DX (directx_Jun2010_redist.exe - released about a month ago), dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe, mseinstall-en-us-x86 etc. I might just wait a bit for the new 7z archive from SoLoR, as I m a bit worried I ll mess something up if I try to work myself up to recent changes...
...meaning that it does't actually integrate those updates as such - but it only installs them on top i.e. after the installation of W7 is completed!?
Download all the updates that showed up yesterday on WU plus KB2548388 (did not show up on WU) and IE9 installer refresh and you should be good until SoLoR publishes his obsolete list
THANKS for the new update! Do you know by chance when the archive will be updated? Will it be anytime soon? Just asking
Does anyone have the following issue: I uninstall the 'old' IE9 (9.0 final), reboot, and try to install the new IE9 (9.0.1) but the installation fails. I have tried several download locations for the new IE9 (including the one SoLoR just upped too) and get the same fail. When I use the previous IE9 9.0 final .msu it installs fine. Then I try it again with the new IE9 9.0.1 and get the same failed message. I don't understand why it is doing this... and I don't feel good about trying to integrate it in my new build if it has problems like this. But maybe I'm not understanding something. Please verify if anyone has the same problem, thanks...
