    thing is that RSAT/ADLDS updates are even more messed up then Win7 updates (since they are more often only for one architecture). And now in zukonobus 13 there was some appfabric update and that scared me so much (1 update having about ~20 different components, so fun to maintain) i just removed everything...

    dunno... kinda RSS feed is refreshing updates.htm and reading first few lines :) but ye kinda need to figure out how to reduce this updates.htm. File is 1.3MB in size... but oh well, i guess SP1 will come before ill start to worry :)

    how about keeping the list of new updates in one file and the components list in another

    one more thing , KB675605-v2 seems redundant for x64 users. since its been superceded by KB2303458 and KB982929

    sadly no... Windows-BootEnvironment-Core-BootManager-PCAT is also in x64 update. I should make this more clear i guess... its like program compatibility update database have Windows-Application-Experience-Program-Compatibility-Assistant-DB component that is also only x86 but it can be found also in x64 update.

    J***s, this must have felt like it was not going to end-huge. The latest slipstreams and installs without any error and, as long as one ensures all updates-including .NET etc., are fully and completely installed nothing shows on M$ update; for me anyways.

    Thanks much SoLoR

    PS: M$ did update SP1 Aug 8, 2010-complete with download link and everything-"pigs fly" LOL

    KB983574 is in \Client for NFS

    KB979259 and KB981773 are still on the list but if you search you will notice in the changelog it says they were "removed"

    @SOLOR,

    KB2159360v4 is an update for Windows Identity Foundation (KB974405). It can only be installed if KB974405 is installed on the system even in dism you have to integrated with KB974405 otherwise it will be omitted. You might want to update your updates.htm file with this information.
