ok, I installed the Windows.Identity.Foundation (but I must admit that I never really understood what it was ....) so I can install this update

    thank you for your help

    EDIT: Windows.Identity.Foundation is:

if I understand it's more for developers, I do not need it, I think

Let SoLoR just do what he does (if he wants to) and not pounce on him with questions and acting like our lives depend on the latest update. I've done it too, sorry for that. If we find a new update, then we can mention it, but usually if we don't know what we're talking about we're also wrong about the validity of such updates (been there, done that). So for him to have to go back and double-check and then find out it's for IE8 or it's already in the IIS folder and we didn't see it (again, been there, done that) it gets exhausting and frankly no fun. So if you're a true update junky, learn how to do what he does, or wait. If you're pretty sure an update is overlooked, mention it. Just writing this to myself, but maybe handy for others too ;)

Hey komm why dont you take over the RSAT and start making/updating a changelog...you dont have to upload any updatepacks just keep the changelog up to date (I am interested in RSAT)

I updated office 2010 updates to SP1. Not 100% sure if i suppose to remove everything since i would need to to fresh office install to figure this out... Obviously they are only in .msp form, you can get .exes from MS.

Office 2010 SP1 WU is bit broken i think.... for example i did clean install of Office 2010 x64 with integrated SP1 (and only SP1). I got offered 3 office updates after it: KB982726 (outlook filter list), KB2494150 (why i need this old update?!) and most disturbing Office 2010 x86 SP1 (it was only like 20MB but still.... why?!). After i manualy installed KB982726 and KB2494150 i obviously didnt saw this 2 updates offered but i suddenly got Office 2010 x64 SP1, even thou it was already installed

I'm working on that, here is a fist list of RSAT updates (not so much)

    958830 970985 983534 2462137 2462585 2466373 2512715 2522461 2525835 2531907 2539513 2545735
    (some "old" allready removed)

When the list is ready; it should contain all RSAT Updates.
old Updates i want to keep with the number off the most recent Update that replaces them.
so if anybody has a question about an old update, he will find it in the list and also the most recent update for this one.

If anybody has other RSAT updates please post.

Maybe I extend the list with 2008R2-Only updates if somebody likes.

I installed the full sp1 on top of your updates and it went pretty quick, I think many of your updates either supersede some sp1 files or they may interfere with sp1 (I think the former)

Do you mean that some of the old MSP's still apply to sp1?

Nah but you need a bunch of proofing tool sp1 updates and things like that. For x86 is like this for full english office 2010 sp1 pro plus you need 44 (or maybe it was 42 msps), for pro plus with full proofing tools you need 67 msps... it took me quiet few reinstalls and copying cabs(msps) from SoftwareDownload folder to get them all (i guess its still only most of them).

edit: oh well i updated office hotfixes again... i think now it close to all that ill ever get.

Just wondering about the updates Ricktendo64 said earlier that now show on Windowsupdate, which probably should be put in the repository :) Its not a mistake! don't mean to sound like I'm rushing or anything, but since they are WU updates...
    Code:
    KB2545698
    KB2547666
    KB2552343
One appears to be related to fonts, one with the search indexer, and one for usermode PNP, whatever that is?
I guess the search indexer update shows for those with search set on under 'Windows features' but service turned off which still allows the search box without indexing.
