Hi Windows Update asks me to install these 3 Updates 1) Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB981852) 2) Microsoft. NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 for x64-based Systems (KB982526) which are actually KB958488-v6001-x64 and KB979900-x64 3) Security Update for Microsoft. NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB983590-x64) is what I have to install? but if I download and installed "manually" it tells me that these Updates are not for my system (7 Pro x64 with rt7lite) except the KB958488-v6001-x64 thanks
Exactly, all those updates are superseeded but WU is kinda broken sometimes when it trys to detect superseeded updates. You can hide them and install KB958488 manualy.
no it never fixes this kind of errors... you can do clean install, with intergrated updates and still get 2-3 updates to install even if in reality they are superseeded.
microsoft quote about kb947821 : So it looks like it fixes errors on our computers and not on their own update server
Thanks for posting them but this site seems to be a bit of a Dog, tried all last night and got one part down, but finally did get some results this morning but at less than Dialup speeds, around 3kbps. Any chance of a better site..? Thanks.
Well that site works for me with 2-5MB/s (yes MB not Mbit, so lets round to 20-50Mbit), so it must be your routing/connection.
I was refering to the Office 2007 Sp2 updates and the MediaFire site, I managed to get one part down last night, now its slow as a Dog and keeps timing out. My Current tested local dnload speed is 10Mbps.
Office 2007 SP2 Updates Hi burfadel Any chance it getting these files for Office 2007 posted on a Mirror site as Mediafire has parts 001 and 003 on a Bad server, tried now for 2 days, have contacted Mediafile about this yesterday, but not had a reply as of now. Thanks
