Because if its an offline image you only need to look at the folder name it is in

Hi trinket

I managed to install the previous net4 as both a slipstream and live install. However, both methods failed with the current installer as there is freezing with the slipstreamed method and it fails midway through install in a live install (i tried re-downloading net4 and installing live with the same error).

@ Solace: Well that is very strange that you cannot install it on a live system... You can install/uninstall the original NET4 installer just fine? Try that and then install my version again and let me know what happens. What is your OS version/architecture etc.?

Hi there, does anyone have any idea if any of the recent updates (past week or so) have dont anything related to USB or windows media player, i am experiencing a problem where if i connect a device while music is playing, the music pauses briefly, this also happens in the zune software so im guessing its something messing with the USB drivers?

Im guessing it was a windows update, as my keyboard backlight flashed off and on several times during a recent update (on the configuring updates screen)

Have reinstalled windows and its still happening once ive installed all the updates!

Any help would be appreciated!

Hey rick! thanks for the reply, looking at the readme in that file it says it doesnt effect sp1 image installs which is what mine is so im guessing that probably wont fix it =/ really scratching my head as to what to do lol its real annoying haha, every time i plug or unplug a device music stops for a second or so, seems to only happen in wmp and zune :S

 

Actually it does apply to sp1, it updates these files
