What im saying is that if you do not remove superseded before installing the current ones then the system might do a rollback and that is a very tedious process to go trough
Hehe. I first thought about it because I saw your name on the Thread as the last poster, and under your name "tomorrow" it said "yesterday"
Anyone have burfadel's updates installer v21 test 2 I am having problems with LDR files not being installed with test 3
Thanks but already used the older stable version 20c to integrate my updates (doing a fresh install tomorrow)
Well, I pretty much follow burfadel's advice on this matter. Here is burfadel's original post (which took me quite some time to find it ):
Hmm makes sence.Tho i'd rather spend a little more time for pre-removal that deal with huge timeloss due to rollback.
the updates KB973640 and KB2554876-v2 (Windows-Mail-Comm-DLL) are updates only for Windows Mail? and I cann't find the files inetcomm.dll and inetres.dll on my PC, where they are? thanks
I think you might be right! when I installed the updates for the last 2 weeks it appeared as though the gdr and ldr versions updated, but having a look it appears that only the gdr versions got installed? I will have to look into that! I guess thats the good thing about a test version, much better to weed these issues out before adding the integration feature I'm sure the issue is something very simple! although at times they can be the hardest to fix since they are not as obvious.
