Ok since you're back i have feature request for the future (when you're done calibrating the new install logic and integration feature). Namely could the superseded uninstaller script list removed updates? By list i mean something like this: Removed 2 superseded installers: KB1234567 KB1234567-v2 So it would list the actual KB numbers of the removed updates. This goes for both uninstall and .msu packages. Currently it only shows the number of removed updates.
That could be possible, I think! I will have to give it a try once I have a good couple of hours of free time, and have worked on the installer
@burfadel: I've noticed a bug, at least I think so, in latest releases of Superseded Uninstaller: when used in a x86 system and if you answer "N" to the question related to LDR, the script exits. If I use an old version (April 27th) with new lists, everything works flawlessly.
Anyone else get this error? (check event viewer: aplications and services logs -> Microsoft -> CodeIntegrity) Code: Code Integrity is unable to verify the image integrity of the file \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Users\<UserName>\Downloads\Windows6.1-KB2568041-x64\wow64_microsoft-windows-appid_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.21010_none_be65d8b21922972d\appidapi.dll because the set of per-page image hashes could not be found on the system.
I have also this error I integrate these updates to the ISO and after I use RT 7lite (I delete Windows Mail) it's normal that these updates are still there after? thank you PS:I didn't know that updates were only for Windows Mail. I can removed?
Hi there, I have a couple of questions: 1- Does Solar's pack include Windows 7 post-SP1 updates only, or it contains ALL updates ever released for W7? The thing is I have W7 with SP1 (MSDN edition) and don't want to update the already updated Windows distribution with pre-SP1 updates/hotfixes... 2- It's not specifically a question about RT7Lite, DISM, or any other official or unofficial tool with integration functionality BUT I want to integrate Solor's pack into install.wim and wonder whether these tools consider the order of installation of hotfixes/updates same as done by automatic update from MS website? In other terms, does the order of install matter during integration into install.wim? Thank you!
I just did a clean install w/ the latest update from solor repository yesterday & I didn't have that error in the event viewer.
Microsoft usually release the Office updates in batches, so its likely there will be several Office updates available shortly if they aren't already
Can any body even download the package from Chris123 site... I have spend over 14 hours trying to DL both the x86 and x64 edition. used IE8 (fails), IE9(fails) Opera (failes) FF (fails). nothing works... several errors and mostly it says the file is corrupt... contact the Admin Server. I have always used and enjoyed SoLoR packages very much... any help appreciated.
well guess not because I mentioned what I tried... so WTH is fdm. If there is some special program needed to enable DL that does not have problems reading .7z please let me know.
I'm still working on the updated installer when I have enough spare time to look into it. First free block of time I had was yesterday (Saturday), the changes to the test version are coming along... I can't give a definitive completion date until I've sorted through and got everything working nicely, which of course depends on when I have free time to do it!
I do have your FDM and use WinRar al the time.... found that 7zip is the worse compressor in the world... even winzip does a better job... but I'll try FDM and see.. Thanks for the info....
