The 120-120-71 is correct When installing the LDR versions of updates the GDR version also needs to be installed for continuity, so the updates that contain both GDR and LDR versions get tallied as 2 updates and are installed separately which is a required function of installing it without using the MSU file. The following is just an example and does not reflect the actual GDR and LDR update numbers. Say there are 200 updates total, and 111 of them contain both GDR and LDR updates. If you were just to install the update.mum file, meaning the GDR versions (or LDR only), you would install just 200 of them. If you were to force install the LDR versions as well (which the installer does), you need to install the update-bf.mum files, of which in this example there are 111. So, in total, you are installing 311 updates. The updates are split into 120 update lots, otherwise the dism command line gets too long! I might change the title bar to reflect the number of GDR, LDR, and total, something along the lines of 'List 1 of 3, Updates: GDR 200, LDR 111, Total 311'
A new Hotfix.... xxxx://support.microsoft.com/kb/2575077 Download: xxx.mediafire.com/download.php?4add744b2e8z99a = x64 xxx.mediafire.com/download.php?1c3x921gt2pruem = x86
There are over 60 new updates since the last lot SoLoR posted there are a few more coming up on the list since I mentioned it earlier. Of course, not all of them are newer or relevant, but it looks like there will still be a sizeable number for SoLoR to sort through. There are probably more on top of these...
Wow, those couple of quiet weeks it looks weren't that quiet after all... it's like another mini SP came out
that you dont add x64 hotfixes if there is no x86. why is the archive about 2,2 gb. i think we can remove many
Changed as in not sourcing the x64 updates if x86 aren't available. The link Shoonay gave is a list of all the Windows 7 updates, including those for RTM. Not sure whether they're sourced from though, there are possibly some relevant ones in there if the list also contains post-sp1 internal Microsoft hotfixes.
