ill see about this, this would mean i would need to host those updates localy, since obviously i wouldnt manualy pack them every time anyway about "todays" updates... there is lot more updates... only from 2550000-2590000 i have 27 hotfixes that where not seen before, not sure how many is superseeded / server only but they are there... other question is also if ill have time to fix them today since im going out for most of the day in a while....
Would be great if there was a tool that would scan and tell what updates in a folder are for Server 2008R2 and what are for Win7.
None yet. As you can see both are dated at 10.08 Don't know if Solor will update both sites now, but the newest hotfixes pack will have todays date. Or tomorrows
i wont whole point of this php/mysql was less work for me if you access it from my lan you get interface for editing all those hotfixes, changelog is tracked automaticaly and things like that, while in old system i needed to do everything manualy.... only issue will be people will be able to follow in real time that im adding/removing updates, might be bit confusing... edit: also other benifit is, while html took 800+kb of data everytime you downloaded it, this takes only ~180kb.... also since page is dynamicaly generated, there wont be issues with refreshing.
Yes, I see some action going on right now Perhaps it's possible to add an "In progress" line or otherwise just mention it here when you are done uploading, or something like that to let everyone know you're done at that moment in time. What do you think?
Or I guess as you're doing right now, populate the list but not upload them yet until you're done @bapt: he's working on the list right now, it keeps growing
