Just so to avoid confusion (without trying to sound picky): :druff:
super-seeded - A torrent, as in bittorrent, that is being seeded using the super-seed method.
superseded - Something that has become redundant by something newer/more up to date.
    superseeded - Not a word ;)
superceded - The most common mis-spelling of 'superseded'. Its not an issue of slight dialect & spelling differences in English, like British (English) English and US English.

Most if the American spellings for words is due to mis-pronunciation, such as 'or' instead of 'our' as in 'color' (cull-loor) instead of 'colour' (cull-er), 'armor' (arm-or) instead of 'armour' (arm-er) etc, or words that have an 'ae' sound which they change to just an 'e', such as 'anemic (a-nemic) instead of anaemic (a-nee-mic). Then there are just bad spellings, like 'liter' instead of 'litre' which is the correct SI unit. Its 'litre' because its more of a 'lee-tuh' sound, not 'lit-er' which it would be with the American 'liter' spelling. There are many other examples! Like 'sulfur' instead of 'sulphur', which if they insist on 'sulfur' then they should insist words like 'phone' be spelt 'fone'...
