Nothing! My mistake I got distracted by something when I wrote that! I correct the post. Yeah its update KB2615701 that is faulty. Mistakes are easy enough to make, like having x86 updates in the x64 folder for IIS and NFS
haha i suck i knew i was right when i didnt make package yet anyway if someone wants to use KB2615701, you can throw KB2549760 and KB2492765 in to LDR folder.
Really, I had no problems installing those updates and rebooting the machine. Maybe it is machine-specific?
I tried KB2615701 again, it works! I double checked that the new lsm.exe was in the system32 folder etc, all files are correct My guess is it only works properly in conjunction with one of the new updates, or it may have an issue with one of the previous updates which has since been resolved. Maybe a few more people can try it out with the rest of the new updates and see if there are any more issues. Reason for assumption: Komm, and as Dippyweb reported as well as myself, KB2615701 has been an issue. In all these cases it was before the installation of all the new updates. Since I previously had the issue and no longer do (on the same installation of Windows in fact - I haven't reinstalled) its something to look in to.
Well ill just add it to repo then, before i make package, if it seems to work with all other updates...
@SoLoR I have 2 questions 1. for me 975410 does not contain netfx-system.drawing (only system.drawing) so is there a reason 2546596 can be removed anyway? 2. why is 2617858 not in your win7 update list? for me its not a special rsat/etc. update.
The USB driver fix is no longer needed also, update KB2615763-v2 correctly installs the latest files with version: GDR 6.1.7601.17701 LDR 6.1.7601.21832 I've removed it from the mediafire download page
1. yes x86 is bit different you can check KB2546596 the one KB975410 replaces and you will see there i no netfx-system.drawing as well... 2. my mistake... thanks.
no. i actually make list according to x64 updates and then add x86 only updates if there are any. KB975410-v2 replaces KB254659 on both architectures. edit: now i made package as well... if someone finds any more errors ill correct them tomorrow.
About the KB2603262, I can't find the microsoft.grouppolicy.reporting.dll file on my PC, which is what it is? thanks EDIT: I just installed the KB2615701 and reboot, I have an error message about "the interactive logon" If I integrate the updates to the ISO, there will be no problem?
no, only KB2615701 for test and for KB2603262, and microsoft.grouppolicy.reporting.dll file, you know where this file? thanks
