In addition to deleting IconCache.db, it may need a new registry value. More info (including a FixIt): hxxp://support.microsoft.com/kb/2396571

SoLoR does KB2544514 (.NET 4) need to be applied?

Last night I built an updated NET4, integrated the above update (put in both x64 and x86 client folders), and removed the ones (KB2534614, kb2551782, kb2478063 & 2565600) Pegasus mentioned as being superseded by it. I then checked WU and no updates for NET4 showing. So I think it works.

SoLoR, do you have any thoughts about the 'withdrawn' updates that Komm mentioned in an earlier post? Would it be advisable to delete these and revert to the previous updates respective to them, or?

After installing the KB2603229, it reads "KB2603229_BF" in my list of installed updates. This is installation of the update on a live system; I have not tried integrating this one to offline image to see what it reads then. What does this mean again, that it mentions BF? And will/should it not show this if I integrate it instead?

Thanks. Right now, I have it both included in my list of updates for offline integration AND as a silent installer that installs at first logon. I'd imagine it couldn't hurt to have it in these two locations...

About NET4: So KB2551782 is not superseded by KB2544514 then?

Also, I noticed you removed: KB2569389, so was this one superseded by KB2544514 then, instead (of KB2551782)?
