Hi SoLoR, I noticed on your 10.10.10 updates that KB982316-x86 was uploaded today, but there is no mention of it in your Update List. Why is this? Thanks... EDIT: yeah, the update mentioned above was already present in x86 updates, but I guess a new x64 update had made the x64 version of it obsolete and you deleted the x86 by accident and then put it back, am I correct?
OK thanks SoLoR, I was just making sure because I had just installed from a new build based on your updates upto Oct. 03, and was about to make a system backup image. Glad I checked as I want to install these Oct. 10 ones before making the backup. Thanks

Question for SweetSmile and/or Burfadel: (First of all, thanks for the update SweetSmile ) Are all updates like this cumulative? I.e., when I install this latest update, which includes a Word update, do I still have to install the previous Word update (office-kb2345340) to get Word to version 14.0.5123.5003? Thanks...
The updates are cumulative. When Microsoft release the next group of updates hopefully they'll do it right and I'll update them all.
Description of the Office 2010 hotfix package (Oartconv-x-none.msp, Oart-x-none.msp, Mso-x-none.msp): September 22, 2010 ...support.microsoft.com/kb/2289189/en-us
Eldi, did you mean: ?6zj3l45t9jba6nw ? Could you tell us a little how to use it? Plus, are the tabs text in a different language? (I'm reading, "Mount WIM", "WIM Info", "Images", "Drivers"; is this correct?) Also, there is a cmd window error saying that "nircmd" is not a valid command or something to that extent... what does that mean? I also notice there are 2 windows open of your app's gui... one I'm working on, and the other stays blank/empty. Is this normal? Thanks... EDIT: How can we remove updates under the "Imagen" tab? I tried entering the names of the updates under "Remove Package" but it wouldn't work. How do we do this? I did manage to add updates into the wim, so that part worked fine. EDIT2: SoLoR, isn't it true that it doesn't normally hurt to have newer updates install over older ones? I heard someone say that updates have only messed up 2 or 3 times in MS history so it is generally save to install updates without removing older ones. Just asking in case I can't get the obsolete ones removed from the .wim.
generaly it doesnt unless you count wasted space and more bloated winsxs folder... what i mean is, if you dont uninstall updates everytime its fine... but if/when you are doing clean install you should have least updates possible.

Hi can anyone give me a WUSA Command line for installing multiple windows 7 msu updates please! and i need one for CAB files using pkgmgr please! Thanks in advance
Well more updates where added during night so some are not added yet... also im doing this updates scan only over weekends (and they do include server), so whatever is added during week is from kb articles (but this im checking only for win7 and not for server).
Ah ok! The KB976571 has been updated to V3, the repository has V2. The date on the article is still 11 Sep though, the hotfix has been updated, and can be downloaded on the request page, but the info on the KB article page and download request is outdated. Looking through the KB articles that just came out, there looks to be quite a few new ones since even your 14 Oct updates. I found one update that had hotfixes for Vista and Server 2008 (not R2), and said for Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 to install SP1 to fix the issue! All these updates must be the ones they've been holding back, releasing them in the process of preparing SP1. This is just a guess, but it seems this way since there are numberous updates on consecutive days after a slow period.
