updates KB2556532 via WU, is this new? can't find it in solor's repo Date Published:8/8/2011 "w?w.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=27033"
What's partly correct? My post is 100% correct, lol. But I think we all agree that the statement "This hotfix does not replace a previously released hotfix" can be confusing.
Quite correct, I somehow misread it! But the statement is still quite true like I said, since its KB article based. They should really make it a file based replacement list.
Guys That's a lengthy explanation... To make it short, I still need both KBs (2532455 & 2556532) right?
I can make it simpler...most KB articless that have a "Hotfix replacement information" section say the same thing: "This hotfix does not replace a previously released hotfix." Only on rare occasions (like a timezone update or certificate revocation hotfix) do they take the time to point out that this hotfix replaces another
I'll do a clean install of Windows 7 (with updates integrated), since 21 there are no new updates? except the KB2633952 replacing the KB2570791 thanks
Hello I have a question. I will integrate the updates into an image of Windows 7 SP1. What files should I download? All are applicable to Windows after the release of sp1? I downloaded 261 files (350 MB) ...hotfix.chris123nt.com/Windows.7/Hotfixes/x64/... I integrate all?? Even the files in the directories: IIS(12 - 5,96 MB) Integrate to installation media(3 - 1,98 MB) LDR placeholders(17 - 12,8 MB) MSMQ(1 - 718 KB) NFS(3 - 1,49 MB) SNMP(1 - 235 KB) Does anyone know a link that might help ... ***** I read on another blog that should make even download this package: Windows6.1-KB2454826-v2-x64.msu I must add this file as well? Is it true?? Work?? ***** Best regards
I always integrate the updates in the root of the folder and the ones inside the LDR folder. That's it.
