Wow- megaupload.com was shut down today and its executives (including Kim Schmitz) arrested.. Mediafire is in the same business so they're probably removing anything they get complaints about just to keep copyright holders happy (even though MS is completely wrong about Burf's file).

Mediafire update their site layout, that's all. (I know, I make their third party download application).

Maybe you could suggest a reason for Microsoft's unhappiness with the remover?!

In any case, their dispute is about the 16 Jan file. So, if SoLoR updates on Sunday (say, 22 Jan), then it wouldn't apply to the new file :D. In any case, I will just add in that Windows etc is copyright of Microsoft corporation, and that the script just utilises DISM etc exactly how its intended to be used. Same goes for the installer, and same goes for a new feature (not integration yet, but same for integration) that I'm adding bit by bit :)

As Ricktendo64 pointed out, the timing of the removal is a bit suss, but even if the they did pass through unaltered (apparently they've been (somewhat) dropped), the remover, installer etc don't impinge on any copyright laws or are related to piracy in any way. I wonder if Microsoft have a quota that the piracy team must reach or face job cuts, because to me it sounds like this is the case.

'damn, need one more to make my quota'

    quick google/Bung (Bing) search later...

Hey Solor, thanx for keeping up the updates,
I have a problem after downloading your last updates of 16 jan,
it says incorrect signature and ends without saving it. i have even nod32 antivirus disabled,
and still the same. did you change anything while packing the full package?

KUC currently shows ADD/GDR for 2446710 which was replaced by (2598773, 2518869) on my 32-bit system. WU seems to be satisfied with the superseding fixes and does not offer me 2446710. I assume because the replacement fixes both have GDR versions. KUC also shows 2633171 which was replaced by an LDR-only fix and the ADD/GDR applies here since WU did offer that fix. How do you determine when the ADD/GDR status applies to a superseded fix?

    Thanks..

hmmmm, according to the download statistics there hasn't been any more downloads since it went off, and it still appears to be unavailable. Cacheing?

Burf, the OP (Digital John) was talking about the files on hotfix.chris123nt.com not the ones on mediafire.
