hi burf, what's the difference between 24a & b? and will there be 24c coming soon? thankx for your hard work
The only difference between v24a and v24b is the addition of KB2633171 to the exclusion list for Smartupdate and the superfluous GDR removal tool. Although this update is superseded, if it isn't fully installed it will still show in Windowsupdate (as potentially will all the other updates set for exclusion). I missed it earlier as its an x86 only update. Unless there are required changes before next month, V24c will come out after next patch Tuesday (Tuesday, 13 March). This is necessary to include those updates, as required to satisfy Windowsupdate, in the Smartupdate/GDR removal tool exclusions.
@komm, thankx for the links..but this is the error i get -> The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
@ Ricktendo64 Haven't been able to download your NET Framework slim installer from dropbox, its been coming up with a 509 error: I guess its saved me downloading it since there are more updates since it was posted... but still, any chance of a mirror in case that one doesn't work? don't think of it as a bad thing, just shows how many people are appreciative of the upload!
Another of my uploads on Mediafire has been disabled, this time the Visual C++ Redist Installer V11. I've already re-uploaded it due to a previous complaints (before V11), if I keep doing it the account may get deleted. Its really the only thing shared out that could be considered a copyright infringement - despite it actually being in Microsoft's favour. and there was a whole lot of other information and offending links etc. As a result, I've removed it from the Mediafire downloads. Instead, please use the Dropbox link as per my signature, and this will be the location of any future updates of the Redist Installer. EDIT: So, I even though I keep getting the popup message, I tried the public access link of the file using a different browser (IE, I use Firefox), and it worked! Maybe the complaint has been withdrawn? in any case, I'll leave it available and see what happens later...

A couple of updates were uploaded twice In the list you posted it also labels 2669522 (driver), but 2669522 it a .NET framework update (3.5). Haven't noticed anything else apart from my post below. Easy enough to do when keeping track of so many new updates (its not a bad thing at all). Thanks
