It is strange sometimes. I used the links referred to earlier in the thread for these NET4 updates, and I could not get them to load at all. I even used HideMyAss proxy (both via the webpage in Firefox and also via extension in Iron browser) and no go. Then I go to the request page, have MS email me the links, and those worked straight away. What is up with those junky download links from MS anyway, the most amateurish filehosting site can create solid links, but MS can't. I'm sure there are 'reasons', but when you click a link and it consistently does not work, it is junky. It's kind of like the Metro interface -- you just keep clicking stuff, hoping that you'll finally end up in a true desktop environment where you know what the hell to do

Also (mentioned previously), 2635500 should be changed from LDR placeholder designation to a normal update. And 2635217 should probably be moved to LDR placeholders (instead of deleting).
I hear ya' on this; so far, I absolutely hate Windows 8 interface-Metro Style-from what I've seen and read. It just looks HoRrIbLe.

KB2659071 updates what exactly? because its not applicable to me, even tho i see those files in my system folder....
are you sure this suppose to be new? considering KB numbers in 259xxxxx should be kinda old already....
